INSTRUCTIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

■ Commemorating the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.

■ Improving communication skills with good and correct operating procedures.

■ Strengthen friendship and solidarity among ORARI members throughout Indonesia.

2. PARTICIPANTS

Participants are ORARI members whose IAR is valid or still in the process of extension and DX Station.

3. MODES, BANDS AND CATEGORIES

■ Mode : SSB / Phone

■ Band : 80 meters, 40 meters and 10meters (3band)

■ Category : Single Operator.

1. Indonesian Stations  :  Single Operator – Low Power

2. Foreign Stations (DX) : Follow the regulations of each Country

4. CONTEST TIME

AUGUST 16, 2023 (13.00 UTC) – AUGUST 17, 2023 (13.00 UTC)

16 AUGUST 2023 (20.00 WIB) – 17 AUGUST 2023 (20.00 WIB)

The contest lasts for 24 hours

5. CALL AND EXCHANGE (for Foreign Stations)

■ Call : CQ, Bekasi Merdeka Contest

■ Exchange : Callsign / Signal Report (59) / DX

6. POINTS

■ QSO in 80 meters 3 points

■ QSO at 40 meters 2 points

■ QSO at 10 meters 4 points

Bonus Points
■ QSO with a 7C1C value band plus 10 points

7. MULTIPLIERS

■ Other Country / band :  1 multiplier

■ Section (Abbreviation for Province) / band :  1 multiplier

8. LOGSHEET

■ Logsheet created using N1MM with cabrillo format.

■ Completion of a logsheet is combined into one logsheet (mixed), no need to separate.

■ The name of the logsheet file must use the Participant’s callsign, for example: yd1cmz.log

■ Logsheet must be submitted no later than : Thursday, August 24, 2023.

■ Include Name, HP No., E-mail and full address on your logsheet.

■ Logsheet sent via email to : YH1AX@orari-kotabekasi.com

9. CERTIFICATE

A digital certificate will be given to participants who fulfill it. requirements and send logsheets.

■ For Indonesian stations, at least 20 QSO (Certified)

■ Minimum 10 QSO (Certified) for DX Station

The certificate can be downloaded after 1 month from the logsheet submission deadline.

10. PRIZES

Indonesian Station

■ 1st National Champion: Plaque + Rp. 1.500.000,-

■ 2nd National Champion: Plaque + Rp. 1.000.000,-

■ 3rd National Champion: Plaque + Rp. 750.000,-

■ 4th National Champion: Plaque

■ 5th National Champion: Plaque

Overseas Stations (DX)

■ 1st Overseas Champion: Plaque

■ 2nd Overseas Champion: Plaque

■ 3rd Overseas Champion: Plaque

All prizes do not apply to the Committee.

11. DISQUALIFICATION

■ Include incorrect data in the logsheet.

■ Did not meet the rules of sportsmanship in the contest.

12. GENERAL RULES.

■ Each participant is subject to his radio amateur license.

■ Each participant must uphold sportsmanship.

■ Self-spotting is not allowed.

■ Please do not use the same frequency for more than 15 minutes continuously.

■ Avoid frequencies currently in use for Net or emergencies.

■ The final score is the score calculated by the Committee. The score displayed on the N1MM is only a guide / estimate.

■ The Committee’s decision is final and cannot be contested.
